Palin Cut Spending for Troubled Teens

Earlier this year, Gov. Sarah Palin used her line-item veto authority to cut spending for a nonprofit that offers services to troubled teens, including a transitional home for teenaged mothers, from $5 million to $3.9 million, The Washington Post reports.
And here's a YouTube video of Palin addressing a meeting of the Alaskan Independence Party, from which the McCain camp has been seeking to distance her. (h/t Andrew Sullivan)
I should note that Palin has denied any membership with the AIP. Her husband was a member, but Palin herself has remained a registered Republican.
