NJ-GOV: Christie Holds Steady Lead

We've had lots of polling in the New Jersey governor's race lately, but not much movement. Here's the latest pollster.com composite, which shows Republican Chris Christie maintaining a solid lead over Gov. Jon Corzine:

There's been a line of thinking about this race that says Corzine's deficit in the polls isn't a big deal. This is New Jersey, where Republicans always get their hopes up, only to have Democrats rally to victory. Corzine has millions of dollars to spend. Christie's image as a corruption buster and a moderate isn't go to last.

Maybe that line of thinking still will be proven correct. But, if I were Corzine, I'd be getting nervous.
