Mike Huckabee Knows He's Overstaying His Welcome

Mike Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor and current presidential candidate (??), was on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend for the show's first post-writers'-strike episode.

Huckabee is always so affable and well-spoken and geniunely funny. Seriously, the guy's got charisma.

Anyway, he didn't disappoint on "SNL," poking fun at the fact that he refuses to get out of the presidential race, even though winning it is a "mathematical impossibility" -- a phrase Huckabee "admits" he doesn't understand.

About

GOVERNING Politics is the place for news and analysis on campaigns and elections. If there's a ballot measure in California, a legislative election in Alabama, a mayoral election in Anchorage or a governor's race in Rhode Island, GOVERNING Politics probably is writing about it. We love everything about state and local politics, from polls and campaign ads to policy debates and demographic trends.
