McLellan's Roots
Advance Indiana teases out a thought that's been germinating in my mind since the story broke about former White House Press Secretary Scott McLellan's tell-all book. Namely, that McLellan's mom, former Texas Comptroller Carole Keeter Strayhorn, was also famous for shooting off with both guns, often in the direction of her former allies.
But Advance Indiana is more interested in trying to debunk McLellan by association with his dad, whom he describes as a JFK assassination conspiracy theorist.
Must have been a fun household growing up. Although no mention of Mark McLellan, Scott's brother and Bush's former director of Medicaid and Medicare.
