You may have heard the spin from Obama strategist David Plouffe about how Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr might siphon enough votes from McCain to hand states like Alaska and Georgia to the Democrat.
Well, North Carolina is another one of the typically red states that Obama hopes to have a shot at, but it looks pretty obvious that the Libertarian vote is not going to be enough to help him out much there. The party only recently reorganized and received fresh recognition from North Carolina's secretary of state, but clearly re-registering has not triggered a land rush.
