Election Day in New Hampshire
A reminder: Today's the day of the New Hampshire state Senate special election, in which former Republican congressman Jeb Bradley tries to return to elected office.
If you're following the returns tonight (and I know you will be) keep an eye on Freedom, New Hampshire, where Barack Obama and John McCain each received precisely 453 votes.
Bradley's hometown of Wolfeboro is among the most populous places in the district. The hometown of Democrat Bud Martin, Sandwich, is smaller, even though it's named for the 4th Earl of Sandwich, who may be the namesake for the sandwich (who wouldn't want to live there?).
Anyways, since Bradley has a bigger hometown base and since he raised more money, my prediction is that he wins 55%-45%.
