As CQ reports, North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper told a congressional committee he supports a federal law to restrict political robocalls. He's also pushing for state legislation to apply the "Do Not Call" list to political campaigns.

On a related note, I've been wondering whether this is the year we start getting unsolicited political text messages (shudder).
