Since 2001, the NCTR Trustee Workshops have helped trustees better understand their role and responsibilities as public plan fiduciaries.  This year, NCTR enriches the experience by partnering with the Trustee Leadership Forum at Harvard University for a fully filled three-day program.  Experienced public fund trustees chair the days and serve on panels alongside renowned experts.  Sessions take a look at portfolio transparency and divestment; the political and economic landscape; trends, reforms, and duties; and more.  Information flows during meals, as well, with guest speakers such as Allen Sinai, Chief Global Economist/Strategist of Decision Economics; and Sharan Burrows, General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC).  For more information, including a link to the agenda, visit the “Trustee Education” page at the NCTR website.
