Murky Transparency



The movement toward open government is well underway, with the Obama administration leading the charge. The effort is praiseworthy, but the implementation is proving dicey.

The problems with the data on recovery.gov have been well covered (as here), but that isn't the only implementation challenge going on. As Zach Tumin's column points out, the hoped-for results aren't materializing quite yet.
