For Labor Day, a few words from organized labor




In honor of Labor Day, we are happy to share with readers a column from Andy Stern, the president of the Service Employees International Union.


Too often, public employees are tarred with a broad brush. Mr. Stern shares his view that those working in the trenches can make a positive difference in promoting transparency and cost effectiveness. As always, your thoughts are welcome.
