Sally Patrenos launched Patrenos & Associates LLC, an advocacy, media relations and governmental affairs firm, in June 2011. Her client list includes both public and private sector entities from the energy, transportation, economic development and media industries.

Previously, she served as the Executive Director of the Florida Transportation Commission, a governor-appointed body responsible for oversight of the Florida Department of Transportation and 17 of the state’s tolling, expressway and transit authorities. She has over 15 years of experience in transportation policy development, having previously served as the Administrator of Intergovernmental Affairs with the Department of Transportation.

Ms. Patrenos is skilled in public affairs, government relations, economic development and marketing. She was appointed as Executive Director of the Florida International Affairs Commission, which handled all international trade, banking, education and diplomatic matters of the State of Florida, under the Governor’s Chairmanship. As Director of the Division of International Marketing for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs she developed global trade missions. Ms. Patrenos served as Associate Director of the Florida Petroleum Council, where she was in charge of media relations, governmental affairs and external liaison.

She is a native of Rome, Georgia, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from North Georgia College, and resides in Tallahassee, Florida.
