Marilyn Brown is a Franklin County, Ohio, commissioner. A Democrat whose main areas of focus are economic development and social justice, she was first elected to the commission in 2006, was re-elected in 2010 and was chosen by her colleagues to serve as the commission's president in 2008, 2011 and 2014.

She is a former board chair and public affairs director for the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission and also served as executive director of the Pickerington, Ohio, Chamber of Commerce.
