Carolin Hagelskamp leads the development, management and implementation of Public Agenda's quantitative and qualitative opinion research, as well as collaborative projects between Public Agenda's research and public engagement departments.

Before joining Public Agenda in 2011, Hagelskamp worked as a research and evaluation consultant for a variety of organizations, including the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations/Department of Field Support and the German Goethe Institute, and was a research associate at the Battersea Research Group in London. She has designed, executed and published policy-relevant studies in the areas of adolescent development, education, immigration, parenting, work-family, workforce development and health care.

Hagelskamp holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Kent at Canterbury, a master’s degree in organizational and social psychology from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Ph.D. in community psychology from New York University. She also completed post-doctoral research at Yale University's Health, Emotion and Behavior Laboratory.
