Brian C. Castrucci is the chief executive officer at the de Beaumont Foundation, whose mission is to strengthen and transform public health in the United States.
An epidemiologist, Castrucci's recent work has focused on the public health needs of large cities, the need for better data systems and public health system improvements. He is an editor and contributing author to The Practical Playbook: Public Health and Primary Care Together, published in 2015.
Castrucci holds a master's degree from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in public health leadership from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Gillings School of Global Public Health.
